Shri Purohit Swami

Swami Adidevananda

But that which is given as a consideration for something received or in expectation of future reward, or grudgingly, is called Rajasika gift.

Swami Gambirananda

But the gift which is given expecting reciprocation, or again, with a desire for its result, and which is given grudgingly,- that is considered to be born of rajas.

Swami Sivananda

And, that gift which is made with a view to receive something in return, or looking for a reward, or given reluctantly, is said to be Rajasic.
