My Personal Gita
No purpose is served for him by what he has done or by what he has not done. For him, there is hardly any dependence on any purpose among all beings.
He has nothing to gain by the performance or non-performance of action. His welfare depends not on any contribution that an earthly creature can make.
He has no purpose to gain by work done or left undone, nor has he to rely on any end.
For him there is no concern here at all with performing action; nor any (concern) with nonperformance. Moreover, for him there is no dependence on any object to serve any purpose.
For him there is no interest whatsoever in what is done or what is not done; nor does he depend on any being for any object.
