Sitting there on the seat and making the mind single-pointed, let him, with the activities of his mind and senses subdued, practice Yoga for self-purification.

Shri Purohit Swami

Seated thus, his mind concentrated, its functions controlled and his senses governed, let him practise meditation for the purification of his lower nature.

Swami Adidevananda

There, sitting on the seat, with the mind concentrated and holding the mind and senses in check, he should practise Yoga for the purification of the self.

Swami Gambirananda

(and) sitting on that seat, he should concentrate his mind for the purification of the internal organ, making the mind one-pointed and keeping the actions of the mind and senses under control.
