By whatever things the shaky and unsteady mind strays, let him restrain it from those things and bring it back under the control of the Self alone.

When the volatile and wavering mind would wander, let him restrain it and bring it again to its allegiance to the Self.

Wherever the fickle and unsteady mind wanders, he should subdue it then and there bring it back under the control of the self alone.
